How this works
How the scores are built. Each of the 29 occupations has two fixed starting values set by Core Loop Press: an exposure value and a protection value (for example, 15 and 92 for a licensed electrician or plumber). They are editorial estimates, not figures taken from a published dataset. Your answers then adjust them with fixed rules.
- Presence. The physical answer is worth 0, 8, 22 or 38 points. Exposure falls by 40 percent of those points and protection rises by all of them.
- Organization. Protection rises by 12 points for a large enterprise and 6 for a mid-sized company, and falls by 5 for solo or very small work.
- Accountability. Each point on the accountability question (1 to 5) adds 3 points of protection.
- Adaptation. The total of your three answers about how you work today, out of 15, expressed as a score out of 100.
- Portability. Starts from the market you choose (30 for a tier-1 hub up to 92 for fully remote work) and falls by half of the presence points.
- Leverage multiple. 1, plus 1.6 times protection divided by 100, plus 1.1 times adaptation divided by 100, minus exposure divided by 260.
- Limits. Exposure is kept between 10 and 95, protection between 15 and 98 and portability between 12 and 95.
- Profile. Protected specialist: protection 75 or more and exposure 40 or less. Leverage position: protection 70 or more and adaptation 60 or more. High compression pressure: exposure 75 or more and protection under 55. Otherwise, transition zone.
What it is not. The result is not measured or published data, not a prediction and not advice. Your answers stay in your browser. When you finish, an anonymous count of completions is recorded with no answers attached. If you choose to ask for the next tool by email, only your name, email address, the date and the wording you agreed to are stored, as described in the privacy notice.
